🥂 One month to go until the @bycacademy awards and I am so excited for the big day! I am so honoured to be nominated for Creativity Coach of the Decade! This was a huuuuge pinch me moment! In fact, when I found out, I closed my computer and went for a walk so I wouldn't freak out! I was absolutely delighted, incredibly grateful and honoured, all da feelz! I also felt so shy to be nominated alongside these other amazing powerhouse women ✴ @carodonahue @xtineroseelle @jerico.mandybur melissaindot @miishgrixti ✴ As a designer, my focus is always on my clients and their experience; guiding them through our creative journey together. I spend my hours sitting behind my computer screen, behind-the-scenes; quietly visioning, conceptualising, refining, tweaking and getting their designs looking fab for their big reveal (aka client presentations). Whilst I love steering my business and watching it evolve, the last few months have helped me realise that there is a big introverted, creative part of me that seeks to hide behind my work. We may work behind our brands, businesses or products assuming that no one “sees” us in our businesses. Or we may be feeling a little scared to boldly stand in front of our businesses too and pioneer our vision forward. Receiving this nomination a few months ago was a beautiful reminder that we can be “seen” in our businesses. ♥ It was a beautiful reminder that we are seen through the impact of not just our work, products or services but who we are as quiet leaders and visionaries; how we collaborate with others and how we impact our communities.
