How to balance yin and yang energy in your business

A series of small conversations with Emmie Rae from The Daily Rest and me. In today's video, we talk about the practice of playing with yin and yang in our work.

We cover the reasons why we, as business owners, may have a tendency to be in a state of yang energy - active, practical, cognitive and focused. Being aware of this and taking note when we are off balance.

This can be help us choose a more conscious response so that we can lean further into cultivating a relaxing, calming, introspective, sensitive yin energy when we are in "yang mode".

Balancing energetic states such as the high yang of summer and the slower yin of winter energy is something that you can learn to use as a foundational practice and guide for running your conscious business in flow so you don’t feel stressed or overwhelmed. It can also help you define what to prioritse versus what you can hold off on.

I believe that knowing how to intuitively move between the yin and the yang will ensure that you are able to create a sense of ease so you don’t ping between the two extremes.
