How to listen to your intuition when making decisions

When we make decisions in our business or in our lives, we may choose to follow our:

  • Head - cognitive thinking
  • Heart - intuition
  • Gut - instinct

Instinct and intuition are terms that are often used interchangeably, but there is actually a distinct difference between the two. Your instinct is a gut reaction which shows up when you feel like your basic needs are not met, in order to protect you and keep your safe.

In contrast, your intuition is a gentle nudge of inner knowing that helps you move closer to your higher self through growth and alignment.⠀

As long as your basic needs are met; follow your intuition so that it helps to set the direction for where you want to go. And then, consult your cognitive brain to help you plan how you will get there.
